Classical Conversations Open House

Have you ever wondered why classical education has been developing strong leaders and thinkers for so many centuries? It is tailor-made for harnessing the power of how students learn best at each level of their development. Classical Conversations has made this time-tested educational process do-able with a thoughtfully crafted curriculum and a community to support you along the way. The Elizabethtown community meets weekly on Tuesdays and offers Foundations classes for ages 4 through sixth grade from 9-noon and Essentials classes for ages 9-12 from 1-3pm. We would love to share with you how Classical Conversations has blessed our home school journey with community, flexible structure and dependable leadership. Come see our community day in action as we work through the classical style of education in a community setting, focused on Christ. We hope you can join us!

Please RSVP so we are prepared for you. Attendance at a CC info meeting is required prior to attending an open house. Check www.classicalconversations.com/events for a list of upcoming info meetings.

Classical Conversations Info meeting

Are you curious about the classical model of home education? Are you wondering how to provide your child an education with a biblical worldview? Wondering if Classical Conversations is a good fit for your family or whether you have what it takes to home school your children? Maybe you’re looking for a home school community for your children (and yourself!). Bring your questions and join us for a conversation over your favorite beverage at Folklore Coffee & Company. You’ll learn about the classical model of education, what CC has to offer and about the Elizabethtown CC location. Registration is required. CC Etown currently offers programs for children ages four through 6th grade, including an intensive writing and grammar seminar for students ages nine through twelve utilizing the Institute for Excellence in Writing curriculum.

Classical Conversations is a worldwide classical, christian home school organization that seeks to equip parents and students to use the classical tools of learning to hone students’ academic skills of recitation, logical thinking, and persuasive rhetoric. Trained tutors lead weekly classes in memorization and review, hands-on fine arts, hands-on science, and student presentations. For more information or for information regarding classes for seventh through twelfth grades, please contact director Jana MacKay at 717.875.5304 or CCEtown@gmail.com.
