Jubilee Day returns to Mechanicsburg tomorrow, Thursday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The largest, longest running one day street fair on the east coast, the event—in its 91st year—attracts upwards of 70,000 attendees each year.
This year, Jubilee Day will feature more than 325 vendors offering food, games, arts & crafts, carnival rides and more. There will also be a Children’s Area with lots of activities for young children, and live entertainment on two stages.
The festival takes place on Main Street from York Street to Walnut Street and on Market Street from Simpson Street to Strawberry Avenue. For details, please check out the festival map and the vendor map.
Due to the large crowds and safety concerns, organizers have stated that pets and bicycles are NOT welcome in the Jubilee Day festival route; those who bring their pets will be asked to leave the festival area.
There will be free shuttle bus service to and from the festival offered at two locations: Behind the Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School, 500 S. Broad St. (parking lot accessible from Williams Grove Road); and Immanuel Church, 800 S. Market St.. Shuttle service runs from 10:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. Attendees will be dropped off at the PA Lottery Bus Stop on S. Market St.
