Area Easter egg hunts for Saturday, April 20


Easter is Sunday so that means that Saturday is the last day to take the kiddos to a community Easter egg hunt. We’ve rounded up 10 in our region that are scheduled for tomorrow morning. To find more activities for Saturday, visit our events calendar.

East Petersburg Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt
East Petersburg Community Park, 6051 Pine St., East Petersburg
Saturday, April 20, 1 p.m.

The egg hunt starts at 1 p.m. sharp. Plan to arrive by 12:45 p.m. so your kids don’t miss the hunt!

Easter Egg Hunt at St. John’s Boiling Springs
St. John Lutheran Church, 111 Walnut St., Boiling Springs
Saturday, April 20, 11 a.m.

With candy, lunch and lots of fun surprises!

Easter Egg Hunt
Zion UM Church of Iona, 1920 S. Fifth Avenue, Lebanon

A family Easter celebration including an egg hunt, the Easter story, and singing.

Egg-A-Rama
Vibrant Christian Church, 1775 Lambs Gap Road, Mechanicsburg
Saturday, April 20, 10 a.m.

An egg hunt extravaganza that includes five fields for ages 2-12, with one field designated for guests with special needs. Crafts, games, face painting, live bunnies, prizes, and entertainment. Doors open at 10 a.m., but the egg hunt will not begin until all cars are parked.

Registration fee per participating child includes Easter egg hunt, wagon rides, craft time, and “Fairy Tale Trail” walking story trail in orchards. Egg hunts will be broken up into three age groups, and will occur every 20-30 minutes. Children are encouraged to bring their own baskets.

Lititz Lions Club 73rd Easter Egg Hunt
Bonfield Elementary School, 101 N. Oak St., Lititz
Saturday, April 20, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Ages 1-10

Children in age groups 1-2, 3-4, 5-7, and 8-10 will search for 1,000 candy-filled and 1,000 toy-filled colored plastic eggs. They will also search for 4,000 pieces of sealed candy and 200 additional plastic eggs containing a special gift, all donated by the Lititz Lions Club. There will be a separate area set-up for children with special needs.

Myerstown Baptist Church Easter Egg Hunt
Myerstown Baptist Church, 59 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown
Saturday, April 20, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Babies-5th grade

Local families are invited to join Myerstown Baptist Church for their community Easter egg hunt.

Paulus Farm Market Community Easter Egg Hunt
1216 S. York St., Mechanicsburg
April 19 & 20
$7 for children, $5 for adults for Good Friday, April 19 for egg decoration and egg hunt.
$3 for Wee Ones egg hunt for ages 2 on April 20, 9:30 a.m.
Tickets must be purchased in advance for a specific hunt time.

West Hanover Township Easter Egg Hunt
Skyline Commons Park, 305 Short St., Harrisburg
April 20, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
FREE
They’ll have lots of special eggs and prize, plus the Easter Bunny. Stay for lunch — they’ll have food trucks. Register at their website or by calling 717-724-0083.
