Visit the Easter Bunny and wrap Hershey’s Kisses this April at the Hershey Story Museum

Celebrate spring’s much awaited arrival this April at The Hershey Story Museum with fun-filled, family-friendly activities. Children can learn about the iconic town of Hershey, pretend to work in Mr. Hershey’s factory by wrapping Hershey’s Kisses and have a memorable visit with the Easter Bunny. Classes in the Chocolate Lab include Chocolate Bird Nests and Bow-Tied Bunnies. Details on all activities during April are as follows:

Fun Facts and Sweet Treats
April 8, 14 and 15, 2017
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Kids can pretend to be a worker in Mr. Hershey’s chocolate factory as they wind their way through the Museum Experience and learn about the town that chocolate built. Their adventure begins with wrapping Hershey’s Kisses, then decorating a candy bar wrapper. After exploring Hershey, Pa., by viewing a miniature model of the town, kids will be rewarded with a Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar, courtesy of The Hershey Company.  Included in Museum Experience admission.

Saturday, April 8 and 15, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Visit with the Easter Bunny while enjoying one of The Pantry Café’s featured specials. No reservation required.

Chocolate Lab Classes  – daily in April; times vary
Classes in the Chocolate Lab with a springtime theme will be offered throughout April. Each class is 45 minutes; participants learn the history and science of chocolate and make a chocolate treat. Check for a complete class schedule; ticket purchase required. Children are required to be 4 years old or older to enter the lab. Classes include:

Participants can celebrate spring by making their own, edible chocolate bird nest complete with chocolate eggs! Learn how “cacao” begins its journey in the rainforest and ends in the form of delicious white, milk and dark chocolate varieties.

Bow-Tied Bunnies
Participants will experience a fun-filled adventure by creating their own, edible chocolate bunny to take home. They’ll also learn about the chocolate-making process, from bean to bar.

Other classes include Build a Bar and Planet Chocolate.
