Lake Tobias is excited to open for the year beginning on June 5th. Some adjustments have had to been made to account for the COVID-19 pandemic, but we hope that everyone has an enjoyable and safe summer.
The biggest change for this season is that our safari buses will not be running, instead we are opening the safari fields for YOU to drive through in your own vehicle. Click here for more info on the drive-thru safari.
The rest of the outside portions of the park will be opened on an abbreviated schedule from 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day, with admissions to the park and drive through safari closing at 4 p.m. The Reptile & Exotics Facility is now open with limited capacity. Masks will be required in the Reptile Building and will be available for sale at a cost of $1.00 each. The J.R. Museum and Education Center, will not be opening until further notice.
The gift shop is now open with limited capacity. Masks are required in the gift shop and will be available for sale if needed, however, if you prefer, you may also order from our online store and pick up your order at our Curb-Side Pickup during your visit.
We hope you enjoy the park and are understanding of the measures we all have to take to keep everyone safe. We will continue to keep you updated as the remainder of our exhibits are phased back in.
