“Stitch to Learn, Learn to Stitch” Exhibit

Needlework throughout history has been an art form associated with women. From young girls who made samplers to older women who embellished clothing, the exhibit will show a variety of samplers, redwork, embroidered table scarfs and more. Included on all tours. All ages, FREE, suggested donation $2/person. Now through January 31, 2017.

Pennypacker Mills is the home of Pennsylvania Governor Samuel W. Pennypacker (1903-1907) and his family. Set on 170-acres of bucolic farmland, the mansion is completely furnished and houses an extensive collection of official and personal artifacts of the Pennypacker family. Operated by the County of Montgomery, the site is open year-round for guided tours, seasonal events, educational programs, changing exhibits, and special programs. Hours: Tues-Sat: 10 am to 4 pm; Sun: 1-4 pm; Closed Mondays & County holidays.
