It’s less than two weeks until Black Friday — the time of year when everyone becomes thrifty for a day or a weekend. This year, I made the leap into seasonal retail in an effort to make a little extra cash. Somehow I managed to get out of working on Thanksgiving itself (not that the store isn’t opening at 6 p.m. that day), but I will be working six hours on Black Friday itself, plus many more that weekend.
