Children's Show to Explore Asperger's Syndrome

The popular PBS Kids show Arthur will start up again on April 5 with an episode featuring a character with Asperger’s Syndrome. The show will be followed by a documentary piece showing real kids with Asperger’s and Autism and how they go about their everyday lives.

The Great Toy Round Up

Feld Entertainment, producer of Disney On Ice, is partnering with the Marines’ Toys for Tots drive to sponsor The Great Toy Round Up. Now through November 2, a new, unwrapped toy may be donated at the Giant Center box office and redeemed for a free child’s ticket to select performances of Disney On Ice presents Disney•Pixar’s Toy Story 3. Feld Entertainment will present 100 toys to the Marines’ Toys for Tots toy drive during the opening night performance of Toy Story 3 at Giant Center, November 3.

Turkey Recalled for Listeria Risk

Texas-based meat processor, New Braunfels Smokehouse, is recalling about 2,600 pounds of cooked, ready-to-eat smoked turkey breast products that may be contaminated a germ that can cause a potentially fatal illness called listeriosis.
