Living with Disabilities Awards nominations are open
Organizers of Central Pa.’s 3rd Annual Living Well with a Disability Awards are accepting nominations for the contest.
The awards, sponsored by The Center for Independent Living of Central Pa., recognize individuals and organizations that demonstrate what it means to live well with a disability.
Categories include: individual with a disability (adult and youth); business; nonprofit; and volunteer.
Nominees must live or work in Cumberland, Dauphin, Perry or Juniata counties.
A committee of judges will review submissions and select a winner in each category. Winners will be announced Nov. 20 at a ceremony at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel.
