Active in the community?

Sep 26, 2012 - 08:14 AM

The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program begins its annual search for the top youth volunteers of 2013.

Students must apply online by November 6, to earn cash and other prizes.

The award is given to outstanding students to recognize their efforts to aid the less fortunate, promote health and safety, protect the environment, or contribute to the community by volunteering.

The awards are open to students in grades 5-12 who have volunteered in the past 12 months.

One middle and one high school student representative will be chosen from each state and the top 10 youth volunteers of America will be selected by a panel of judges.
