Annual Gallery Walk slated for Sept. 9
The 24th Annual Harrisburg Gallery Walk will feature 19 sites this year during the Sept. 9 event.
The Gallery Walk, sponsored by the Art Association of Harrisburg, is a popular walking/driving tour of Harrisburg’s art galleries. The suggested route starts at the Art Association featuring its “Out of the Blue” exhibit accompanied by music by the Melina Blackwell Duo.
Other stops include the John Harris/Simon Cameron Mansion, the Whitaker Center, the Capital Area School for the Arts, The Gallery at Walnut Place and more.
New this year is the coffee roasters Little Amps and the Fenetre Gallery of HACC Midtown II.
Harrisburg Bike Taxis will be available to provide transportation for walkers.
While many galleries will feature live music, No Last Call, Harrisburg’s only hit-and-run street band, will roam the route providing live music all afternoon.
