Adams County Winery to close out concert series with party
With Labor Day looming closer with each hour, families are trying to squeeze in the last bit of summer fun they can.
If you’re looking for something different to do, Adams County Winery may be the perfect solution.
The Orrtanna-based winery closes out its summer concert series with its End of Summertime Blues Party from 1-5 p.m. Aug. 25, with the Skyla Burrell Band—a 2012 Blue Hall of Fame inductee.
The family-friendly event will include ice cream and free tours of the winery, plus a special showing of vintage and classic vehicles by the Ghost Ryderz Car Club. Families can bring a picnic or buy food from Uncle Moe’s Soul Food. Wine slushies and free wine tasting will be available from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. to anyone 21 or older.
Visitors can enjoy the events from the lawn, the garden terrace or in the pavilion. For more information, visit www.adamscountywinery.com.
