Britax Car Seats Recalled

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled about 23,000 of the Britax Chaperone Infant car seats because the harness chest clip can break and pose a laceration hazard, as well as a choking hazard, because of its small size. Across the nation, active families are buying green cars and putting the brakes on their long-distance travel plans because of the skyrocketing cost of gasoline.

More Car Models Recalled

GM Motor Corp has recalled 250,000 crossover vehicles worldwide because the second row seatbelts may not latch properly. The recall includes model year 2009-2010 Chevrolet Traverse, Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia and Saturn Outlook. Also, Mazda Motor Corp has anounced a recall of 215,000 Mazda3 and Mazda5 cars from 2007, 2008, and 2009 because they can experience a sudden loss of power steering. Owners of the vehicles should start receiving recall notices soon.
