I just read another story in the news about a child who has an IQ higher than Einstein's. How incredible! How amazing! Yet what these stories never cover is how the parents of these wunderkinds handle their interactions with the parents of his same-age peers...

My son came home from school a few weeks ago and presented me with a large packet filled with high-gloss portraits of himself, picture magnets, bookmarks with his face on it and a bunch of other fancy stuff. "Mom, aren't these cool," he gushed. They sure were, but I didn't order these...
