04/18/12A novice perspective on couples counselingI’ve always felt that the only couples who need counseling are those who have problems to begin with. The number of married couples getting divorced in the U.S. would contest that statement (even though divorce rates are slowly decreasing), as would my fiancée who insisted we attend premarital counseling. 04/11/12Where are all the trout pictures?Waking up at the crack of dawn and wading out into the muddy waters of local creeks during the first few Saturdays in April each year became a part of my life growing up. My sister and I would willingly go to bed early, and look forward to trying to catch a big trout on the first day of trout season the next day. I enjoyed every minute of it—from everyone casting their lines at 8 a.m. to hooking on a fresh worm.
