Local bands Vinyl Groov, Ghost Light Radio Show, Little Buddy and MOE Blues will take the stage Saturday, May 11, for the Schreiberpalooza Music Fest, an over-21 event to support Schreiber Pediatric that will take place rain or shine. Clair Brothers, located at One Clair Boulevard in Manheim, will host the music festival from 5:30-11 p.m.
Vinyl Groov, popular R&B performers who have performed around the region for more than two decades, will be at Palooza for the first time. Additional performers will include the classic rock band Ghost Light Radio Show; Little Buddy, a rip-it-up guitar player who has performed at numerous blues festivals; and MOE Blues, returning for their appearance at Palooza.
Tickets for Schreiberpalooza cost $20 in advance and $25 the night of the event. Tickets also can be purchased online for $20 at schreiberpediatric.org/palooza. A cash bar (wine and beer) will be available that evening, with donated wine from Thorn Hill Vineyards and craft beer selections from Mad Chef Craft Brewing, St. Boniface Craft Brewing Co. and Wacker Brewing Co. There will also be beer from The Beer and Beverage Shoppe. New for this year: two special additions to the drink menu, a Palooza Punch sangria, and a Rockin’ Rosé mixed drink, provided by The Traveling Tap.
The event will also feature food by Lancaster Dispensing Co. Proceeds from all food and drink sales will be donated to Schreiber.
FM97’s Leah Tyler will emcee the event, and FM97 and Lancaster Red Rose Credit Union are providing promotional support.
