Daily News Hersheypark Christmas Candylane to open Nov. 15 By: Central Penn Parent November 6, 2019 It’s about to be the most wonderful time of the year—especially in Hershey as the Hersheypark Christmas Candylane holiday attraction prepares to open to the public on select dates from Nov. 15, 2019, through Jan. 1, 2020. Christmas Candylane will feature family-friendly rides as well as popular coasters, including Laff Trakk, Sidewinder, sooperdooperLooper, Wild Mouse, Wildcat and Cocoa Cruiser, weather permitting. New this year, the Reese’s Cupfusion attraction will have guests joining the mission to protect the factory and ensure the world is never deprived of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, with a special holiday scene. More than four million sparkling lights will deck the halls of Hersheypark during the holiday attraction. There will be a NOEL light show choreographed with joyful music as well as “The Littlest Tree” holiday show inside the heated Chevrolet Music Box Theatre venue and an indoor, heated photo opportunity with Hershey Characters. Children can meet Santa in his indoor heated Candy Cottage during all operating hours and his reindeer—including Rudolph—will also make a special stop at Christmas Candylane. Additionally, guests can see other animals at ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park, which is included in admission to Christmas Candylane when entered through the Park during operating hours. Visitors will have an opportunity to watch the animals enjoy special winter treats, learn how the animals survive the cold and get up-close with animal encounters during two educational programs on select dates and times. Special food and drinks available for purchase during Christmas Candylane include hot chocolate, kind size shakes, and s’mores. One-day admission to Hersheypark Christmas Candylane is $23.95 if purchased online at Hersheypark.com before Nov. 24, 2019 (tickets are valid through Jan. 1, 2020) and $30.95 at the gate. Also open in Hershey November 15-January 1, the Hershey Sweet Lights attraction offers a two-mile long drive-through experience with fields and wooded trails decorated with nearly 600 illuminated displays. Open nightly from Nov. 15, 2019, through Jan. 1, 2020, families can enjoy the bright lights from the comfort of their car while listening to holiday music. Tickets are $19.15 for single cars (up to 8 people) Mondays through Thursdays, and $26.15 Fridays through Sundays.
