Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (CPYB) kicks off its 2017-18 season on October 21 and 22 with the national production of Alan Hineline’s Hansel and Gretel.
Hineline’s production of the classic tale is a story of suspense and daring escape, of witches and candy houses, told through movement, costuming, sets and lighting. “Unlike any other show that audiences may have seen, this lighthearted telling of Hansel and Gretel is an adventure where childhood cleverness prevails against all odds,” said Hineline. “I always enjoy the positive reactions from audiences – children and parents alike.”
Hansel and Gretel is sponsored, in part, by co-presenting sponsor Capital BlueCross.
