This event takes place on Saturday, April 8 beginning at 10 a.m. on soccer fields 5 and 6 in Hampden Park (behind tennis courts).  Participants should park in the pool parking lot.  The hunt is open to all Township children, 2 to 8 years of age.  The event is rain or shine and will start promptly at 10 a.m. Bring your own basket or bag to collect the eggs.

Lower Allen Township Easter Egg Hunt

This day of spring fun will center around a downtown wide “egg hunt”, where children 12 and under will frolic from business to business collecting eggs and treats. Children are encouraged to dress in their Sunday best to form their very own Easter Parade! Maps of participating locations will be available at Georgie Lou’s, located at 56 W. High Street, on the day of the event and will be handed out starting at noon. Those arriving prior to the start time will be directed to wait in line outside the business location.

East Pennsboro Township Easter Egg Hunt and Scavenger Hunt

Scavenger hunt: We will meet at the Concession Stand by the caboose. Bring your smart phone (download the Geocaching App)or borrow one of our GPS Units to participate in our Geocaching Scavenger Hunt! We will have caches all over the park for you to find in this fun scavenger hunt throughout the park. We’re taking the normal Easter fun and doubling it with two days of indoor egg hunting! We’re offering FREE admission for children (up to age 12) with a paid regular admission. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult. Tickets must be purchased at the door to receive this special ticket rate. Guests will hunt to find a variety of “egg spots” within the main and lower levels of the Museum. Treats will be given to each child 12 and under at these treat locations. Bring your Easter Egg Baskets! Be sure to see the Easter Bunny, who is making special visits on both days! We will also have hot dogs and popcorn, and bunny juice (pink lemonade!) while supplies last.

Beulah, the Easter egg laying chicken, co-stars with Peter Cottontail in this holiday musical. The cast includes Little BoPeep with her sheep and Sam, the Spider. Written by Artistic Director Robert Brock, it is performed with marionettes he created. Back stage tours will be offered 20 minutes prior to curtain, and the John Durang Puppet Museum and the Puppet Shop are open before all performances. Our shows are appropriate for children who can sit quietly for 35 minutes.

For some egg dyeing, fun and fellowship, please join us at 7 p.m. at the church on Thursday evening April 6. There are many eggs to be dyed and many dyers are needed. This event starts at 8:30 p.m. at the York Township Park Building with a pizza dinner (1 slice and a can drink) before the hunt. Then, we search for prize eggs in the dark! Eggspecially Fun Bunny Run to Seitzland

Ride the Eggspecially Fun Bunny Run with our favorite banjo and guitar player, Jeff Greenawalt. Visit and take photos with the Easter Bunny while riding on the train. Your 45 minute ride will take you along the beautiful rail trail with song and stories. Once you are back at the station in New Freedom, children will be invited to participate in an egg hunt.

Annual Columbia Community Easter Egg Hunt

The field opens at 10 a.m. for door prize registration, games, food and the silent auction. Each child ages birth to age 12 and each adult parent must pick up a free ticket at the field on the day of the Egg Hunt in order to be eligible for door prizes. No ticket is needed to participate in the actual egg hunt. Ten thousand empty plastic eggs are spread on the football field for each of the six age groups to collect and then redeem for candy. There are separate Egg Hunts for each age group with the first Egg Hunt for the youngest age group beginning about 1:00pm. The age groups are: birth to 2 years old, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12.

Search for apples around the farm and orchard and the kids can visit with the Easter Bunny, play in the live bunny play zone, and enjoy wagon rides, face painting and other activities. Please register children by Wednesday, April 12 by calling the Farm Market (717)252-2540, by emailing enjoy@flinchbaughsorchard.com, visiting the Farm Market or online at Eventbrite. The admission fee will be collected at the registration tent the morning of the event. Food concessions will be available from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and the Farm Market will be open 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Eggspecially Fun Bunny Run to Seitzland
Steam Into History, 2 W. Main St., New Freedom
April 14-15
Ride times: 11:30am, 1 p.m., 2:30p.m.
Cost: $9 child, $21 adult
Ride the Eggspecially Fun Bunny Run with our favorite banjo and guitar player, Jeff Greenawalt. Visit and take photos with the Easter Bunny while riding on the train. Your 45 minute ride will take you along the beautiful rail trail with song and stories. Once you are back at the station in New Freedom, children will be invited to participate in an egg hunt.
