Easter is quickly approaching, and that means the calendar is filled with Easter egg hunts all around the community.
Heres a look at some of Central Pennsylvanias Easter egg hunts:
Mechanicsburg Easter Egg Hunt. Age categories include 0-2, 3-4, 5-7 and 8-10.
Where: Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Park, Mechanicsburg When: 11 a.m., Saturday, April 5 Cost: FREE
Egg-A-Rama. All children ages 2 to 12 are welcome to come test their egg-hunting skills! Registration begins at 10 a.m. and includes snacks, eggs, crafts, entertainment and much more.
Where: Capital Area Christian Church, 1775 Lambs Gap Road, Mechanicsburg When: 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday, April 19 Cost: Free
Lower Allen Township Annual Easter Egg Hunt: Children 3 years old and younger will hunt for eggs at 10 a.m. at the Upper Pavilion, while children 4-6 years old will be at the Keystone Pavilion at 10:20 a.m. There is also a hunt for 7-10 year olds at the Lower Pavilion at 10:40 a.m. Children should bring their own baskets, and there will be candy and goody bags for each child.

Crones Tae Kwon Do School Annual Easter Egg Hunt: Not only can children (ages 3-11) participate in an egg hunt, but they can also enjoy games, activities, vendor booths, a bake sale and more. Pre-register at www.CronesTKD.com.

East Pennsboro Township Community Easter Egg Hunt. For children 2-6 years old.

Hampden Township Easter Egg Hunt. Open for Hampden Township children ages 2-8.
Where: Hampden Park, Mechanicsburg When: 10 a.m., Saturday, April 12 Cost: FREE
South Middleton Township Easter Egg Hunt. Open for children 2-8. The Easter Bunny will make an appearance.
Where: Spring Meadows Park, Boiling Springs When: 11 a.m., Saturday, April 12 Cost: FREE
Good Shepherd Community United Methodist Church Easter Egg Hunt. Children can have Breakfast with The Easter Bunny following the egg hunt. There will also be games and crafts.

AACA Museum Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Bunny will visit the museum from 11 a.m.-1, then children 0-10 years old can enjoy Easter egg hunts. Also enjoy hot dogs and popcorn.
Where: AACA Museum, 161 Museum Drive, Hershey When: 1 p.m., Saturday, April 12 Cost: $10 for adults; children and teens: FREE
Dauphin County Easter Egg Hunt. Children 2-9 years old can search for thousands of eggs filled with candy. Hunts broken by age groups. Other activities include pony rides and face painting.

Susquehanna Valley EFC Community Easter Egg Hunt. Open to ages 0-12. Other activities for children available, as well as concession stand.

Lancaster Countys Largest Free Easter Egg Hunt. This years hunt will feature more than 40,000 eggs for children 0-12 years old to find. There will also be free food and games and prizes for all ages.

Leola Community Egg Wise Sage Hunt. Children from toddlers through 3rd grade can enjoy an egg hunt, while children in 4th-6th grades will hunt for wise sages. There will also be a puppet show and singing and dancing.

Egg-Stravaganza. Kids can enjoy egg hunts by age groups as well as face painting, crafts and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Lititz Lions 68th Easter Egg Hunt. Open for children 1-10. There will be 4,000 eggs filled with candy and an extra 200 eggs with a special gift. Hunts are broken up by age group.

York Revolutions Fan Fest. Children can hunt for eggs in the outfield!

Easter Egg Hunt and Hot Dog Lunch. After kids hunt for Easter eggs, families can enjoy a hot dog lunch.

Teen Easter Egg Night Hunt. This is a special event just for teenagers (12-19 years old). Bring a flashlight and search for eggs at night!

York Easter Egg Hunt. Open to children 8 and under with a lunch offered after the hunt.
Where: Kiwanis Lake/Farquhar Park, N. Newberry St., York When: 1-3 p.m., Saturday, April 12 Cost: Free
12th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Children 10 years and younger can enjoy an Easter egg hunt and meet the Easter Bunny.
Where: The Markets of Shrewsbury, 12025 Susquehanna Trail, Glen Rock When: 10 a.m., Saturday, April 19 Cost: Free
Spring Fest and Easter Apple Hunt. Kids 1-12 years old can participate in Central Pennsylvanias only apple hunt! There will also be face painting, egg dyeing and more.
Where: Flinchbaughs Orchard Farm Market, 110 Ducktown Road, Hellam When: 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, April 19 Cost: $5 per child
